Fees & Funding

Here’s a friendly breakdown of what you need to know about tuition fees:

Aged 16-18? Great news! Tuition fees are completely free for everyone in this age group as of 31 August of the year your course begins.

Aged 19 or over and studying a full-time level 1 or 2 course? Tuition fees may apply based on funding allocated by the Education and Skills Funding Agency, which will be finalised at a later term.

Looking into full-time level 3 courses and beyond? These courses may come with higher fees, often reaching several thousand pounds. However, don’t worry—there are advanced learner loans available to help cover these costs.

Asylum Seekers

Asylum seekers are eligible to receive funding if they:

  • have lived in the UK for 6 months or longer while their claim is being considered by the Home Office, and no decision on their claim has been made, or
  • are receiving local authority support under Ìý´Ç°ùÌý or the 

An individual who has been refused asylum will be eligible if:

  • they have appealed against a decision made by the UK government against granting refugee status and no decision has been made within 6 months of lodging the appeal, or
  • they are granted support for themselves under , or
  • are receiving local authority support for themselves under Ìý´Ç°ùÌý

Fee Remission

To help make education more accessible, ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ offers a range of fee remissions depending on your course level and personal circumstances. We’ve outlined the available support in three dedicated documents covering Level 2, Level 3, and Part-Time Courses.
