Alvernia is expanding into Allentown. Its new location on Hamilton Boulevard will house expanded academic programming, including a $10,000 hybrid Master of Business Administration (MBA). Students will meet in person one day a week, with the rest of the courses offered online.

Alvernia's Adaptability Helps Adult Student Create Comeback
Buoyed by a can-do attitude, support from friends and family, and the flexibility of Alvernia's online programs, English Bradley '26 persevered through 'survival mode.'
- The university looks to duplicate its success in Reading and Pottsville, which has led to several renovation projects spanning over 1.5 million square feet of redevelopment along the Penn Street corridor in Reading. Initiatives and partnerships through the O'Pake Institute for Economic Development and Entrepreneurship and Total Experience Learning® (TExpL) will also expand to the Lehigh Valley.
- The O'Pake Institute will partner with Lehigh Valley-based students, regional entrepreneurs, small-business owners, and industry leaders to enhance economic development in the region through the institute’s student-powered SPARK Business Incubator.
- TExpL will bring its educator coursework to the Lehigh Valley through new partnerships with local Catholic high schools. The innovative, credit-bearing program blends hands-on learning with cutting-edge teaching strategies, project management techniques, and global perspectives. Courses can be applied toward a Master of Education in Educational Leadership, offering a clear pathway to an advanced degree.
